This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it in plain English.

Who we are

Kirel Intelligence (Kirel.ai) is the AI arm of Kirel Creations Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India. “We”, “us” and “our” in this policy mean Kirel Creations Pvt. Ltd. and its Kirel Intelligence team.

We decide how and why your personal data is used, which makes us the “Data Fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the website at kirel.ai and the enquiries you send us by form, email, phone or WhatsApp.

It doesn’t cover business data we handle for clients during a project. How we handle that data is agreed in writing in the project agreement before any work begins.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our form, we collect:

  • your name, work email and company or business name
  • your phone or WhatsApp number and where your business is based, if you choose to share them
  • what you’d like help with, your description of the problem and your timeline
  • which page or button you came from
  • your agreement to be contacted about your enquiry

When you email, call or message us, we collect the details you choose to share.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. This keeps the website secure and working.

We don’t need sensitive information to answer an enquiry. Please don’t send passwords, customer records or confidential documents through the form.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn’t currently set cookies or use analytics or advertising trackers. Our fonts are served from our own website, not a third-party font service.

If that changes, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • reply to your enquiry and discuss whether and how we can help
  • prepare a proposal, if you ask for one
  • keep a record of our conversations
  • keep the website secure and filter out spam
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations if you become a client

We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you separately agree to it. We don’t sell or rent your personal data.

Why we’re allowed to use it

We use your personal data with your consent, which you give when you tick the consent box on our form or contact us directly. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@kirel.ai. This won’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Where Indian law allows, we may also use personal data without consent for certain legitimate uses, such as meeting a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We share your personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and handle enquiries, and only so they can provide that service to us:

  • Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to our inbox
  • our email provider, which stores our messages
  • our website hosting provider, which serves the website

We may also share personal data with authorities when the law requires it. If our business is reorganised or transferred, your data may be transferred as part of that, and this policy will continue to apply to it.

Transfers outside India

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. When this happens, we follow Indian law, including any restrictions the Government of India notifies on transfers to particular countries.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
  • If you become a client: for as long as we work together, and afterwards for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records (generally up to eight years in India).
  • Website logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, in line with its own policies.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See “Your rights” below.

How we protect it

We take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data. Only people who need your data to handle your enquiry can see it, the website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and we use established service providers.

No system is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal data, we’ll inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we’ve shared it with
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it
  • ask us to delete it
  • withdraw your consent
  • have a complaint about how we’ve handled your data addressed
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act

To use any of these rights, email hello@kirel.ai with the subject “Privacy request”. We’ll reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you’re contacting us from outside India, you may have similar rights under your local law. Send us your request and we’ll do our best to help.

Children

This website is for businesses. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.

Our website may link to other websites. We’re not responsible for how they handle personal data, so please read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we’ll make it clear on this page.
